You know her as the sassy lead singer of The Flying Saucer favourites, Jam The Funk, but now she is coming to the Saucer to present her own show “A Bridesmaid’s Journey”. Nikki’s career began as a session singer recording a myriad of well known jingles as well as touring with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Suzi Quatro, John Farnham, Kylie Minogue, Lulu, Aussie Crawl and more. This performance will introduce songs from her most recent record Bridesmaid, her rock album Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood (featuring music of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Jimi Hendrix), a collection of songs from artists she has toured and sung with and ‘on the road’ stories of her journey thus far. You can expect a spectacular performance from this very talented songstress!

The Audreys are a folk-rock act from Adelaide who are bringing their melancholy melodies back to The Saucer this September. Taasha sings and plays tiny guitars and keys, and Tristan plays normal-sized guitars. Their first three records all won the ARIA award for Best Blues and Roots Album. Their fourth, 2014's 'Til My Tears Roll Away, only got a nomination, but that's not stopping them working on a fifth. Over the last ten years they've graced almost every major festival in Australia, toured Europe and North America, sold songs to films and television shows far and wide, written music for TV, theatre and even dance shows, hit the charts, gone gold, and pawned their very hearts for rock ’n’ roll … and all without crumpling their vintage op-shop duds. 40th Anniversary Celebration of "Neil Young's Tonight's The Night" presented by Nick Barker & The Studio Instrument Rentals

Australian pub rock icon Nick Barker and his bespoke band The Studio Instrument Rentals will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the classic Neil Young album ‘Tonight’s The Night', re-creating the record track-for-track together with an extended encore of other Neil Young gems. Nick Barker’s one-off band, The Studio Instrument Rentals named after the famed recording studio, features Michael Barclay (Paul Kelly & The Coloured Girls) on drums, Michael Hubbard (Spencer P Jones & The Escape Committee) on guitar, Grant Cummerford (Matt Walker and Jeff Lang) on bass, Shane Reilly (Tex Perkins) on pedal steel guitar and Bruce Haymes (Renee Geyer) on keyboards. A veritable who’s who of the credible Melbourne music scene. The show was deemed a huge success recently at the Yarraville Live Club, so make sure you reserve your tickets early for this one folks!

Raw Brit play 'Machine Head' & 'Bad Company'

The guys from Raw Brit are returning to the Flying Saucer Club this September and that can only mean one thing: you’re in for a ripper of a show. This time round, the group will be rocking out to not one, but two classic albums and they’ll be performing three huge sets of music. That’s right, you’ll hear them cover Bad Company’s self-titled first album, Deep Purple’s Machine Head and then, as a special treat, one set of straight out dance tunes. The band features Mick Pealing (Stars, The Ideals), Bob Spencer (Skyhooks, Angels), John Favaro (The Badloves) and Peter Maslen (Boom Crash Opera). Surely we don’t need to tell you this one will sell out, do we?

Accompanied by guitar master SHANE O'MARA, STEPHEN CUMMINGS will be performing this September at The Saucer. The recent 'SPORTS Reunion shows' saw the timelessly groovy CUMMINGS in action. The enthusiasm from those shows has prompted the singer/songwriter’s first proper tour across the country for 2015. The show will be going back to go forward; it's going back to a time before anyone had ever heard of Stephen, so the show will be new, even though it's old. For the band, it's all about the music and putting on a great show focusing on classic Santana (late 60's/70's with a splash of later stuff) covering Latin Rock, Latin Soul, Jazz and Rock genres. Dave Tice is founder of the legendary 70's band ‘Buffalo’, which also featured co-founder Pete Wells (Rose tattoo) and British rock band The Count Bishops, and now tours with his blues outfit, The Dave Tice Band. The Badloves hit debut album “Get On Board” spent a massive 69 weeks in the charts, peaked at number 5 and went double platinum; delivering 5 hit singles in, ‘Lost’, ‘Memphis’, ‘I Remember’, ‘The Weight’ (w Jimmy Barnes), ‘Memphis’ and ‘Green Limousine’. 'Low Fidelity (Songs By Request Volume 1)' is a collection of songs requested by lovers of Rob Snarski's voice. Everything from Nina Simone to Pulp, Edwyn Collins to Glen Campbell; from classic songs to the more obscure. Recorded in the hills of Tecoma on an iPhone and embellished by guitarist/producer Shane O'Mara, it's an intimate and raw recording, unpolished but made with care.
