The Audreys

Friday 04 September

The Audreys are a folk-rock act from Adelaide who are bringing their melancholy melodies back to The Saucer this September. Taasha sings and plays tiny guitars and keys, and Tristan plays normal-sized guitars. Their first three records all won the ARIA award for Best Blues and Roots Album. Their fourth, 2014's 'Til My Tears Roll Away, only got a nomination, but that's not stopping them working on a fifth. Over the last ten years they've graced almost every major festival in Australia, toured Europe and North America, sold songs to films and television shows far and wide, written music for TV, theatre and even dance shows, hit the charts, gone gold, and pawned their very hearts for rock ’n’ roll … and all without crumpling their vintage op-shop duds. With startling musicianship, scintillating banter and bittersweet songs, The Audreys will leave you all folked up and ready for anything. Supporting The Audreys will be Sime Nugent. Not to be missed!
