Jake Clemons (USA)

Jake Clemons is a singer-songwriter, and best known for being the saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Jake took over the role of saxophonist for the band when his uncle, Clarence Clemons, a founding member of the band, passed away in 2011. Jake also has performed various instruments including percussion and also provided backing vocals on the band's Wrecking Ball Tour and High Hopes Tour, and he's making his way to the Flying Saucer Club in August as part of his first Australian Tour in support of his debut self-released EP “Embracing Light”.

Iconic Australian singer, songwriter and ARIA award winner, Monique Brumby has announced the release of anew single, 'Silent War' alongside her self-titled, fifth studio album. Brumby will be hitting the road to celebrate the releases, kick starting in Launceston (Tas) on June 14 and moving through Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Hepburn Springs, Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Brisbane, back through Tasmania once more and completing the tour in Melbourne at the Flying Saucer Club on August 16. With special guests: REBECCA BARNARD + BIDDLEWOOD

After 25 years, the honey-voiced singer of the Blackeyed Susans, Rob Snarski is launching his new debut solo album, “Wounded Bird” at the Flying Saucer Club. Produced by Rob and longtime bandmate and collaborator Dan Luscombe with Yikesville studio boss Shane O’Mara, “Wounded Bird” foregoes the lush arrangements of The Blackeyed Susans for a stripped-back and intimate sound palette. After a full house and packed dance-floor, popular demand has brought Melbourne's one and only Santana Tribute band back to the Saucer to perform a special ENCORE show in September. With a 7 piece line-up, Soul Sacrifice pays genuine tribute to the great music of Santana. For the band, it's all about the music and putting on a great show focusing on classic Santana (late 60's/70's with a splash of later stuff) covering Latin Rock, Latin Soul, Jazz and Rock genres. You will no doubt enjoy listening to the infectious grooves and rhythms of such classics as Black Magic Woman, Evil Ways, Oye Como Va & Smooth to name a few. UNMISSABLE!

Classic American '60s Folk Rock - presented by Paul Wookey & The Zimmermen

Highly regarded and award winning Australian folk/blues singer Paul Wookey has put together a 2½ hour show that brings together the music of three of the giants of American folk rock: Bob Dylan, The Byrds and Crosby Stills Nash & Young. Paul and his band The Zimmermen will perform a set combining the best acoustic and electric songs from the Sydney, Melbourne and London shows of Bob Dylan’s famous 1966 world tour. This will be preceded by a track by track performance of ‘The Byrds Greatest Hits’ 1965-1970 and an acoustic set of the greatest hits of Crosby Stills Nash & Young.
