Bob ‘Bongo’ Starkie presents ‘Million Dollar Riff’

Bob ‘bongo’ Starkie- guitarist from the engine room of the legendary ‘Skyhooks’ is back! This upcoming show sees not only a new band line-up but also a swanky new costume for Bob.
Joining the band will be the remarkable Lisa Edwards from the John Farnham Band on lead vocals, Steve Williams (sax/harp/percussion) who also toured long-term with John Farnham, Stuart Fraser (guitar), Sean McLeod (drums) from Taxiride and Dale Lindrea (bass). Get ready to bust a move on the dance floor groovers as Bob Starkie and band bring you a whole bunch of Skyhooks favourites such as ‘Livin in the 70s’, ‘Horror Movie’ and who can forget the classic ‘Women in Uniform’!

Yes its true, they’re coming out into the paddocks again. Million Dollar Riff, is a celebration of the music of Skyhooks and the phenomenal word smithery of Greg Macainsh.

In 1998 Bob was inducted into the Aria hall of fame recognizing the significant contribution he and his fellow Skyhooks made to Australian live music.
