For over 30 years, Peter Milley’s Cairo Club Orchestra has provided a refreshing take on the ‘big band’ theme that Melbournians have always embraced with welcome arms. They have performed just about everywhere and have indulged in a bit of TV and made radio appearances, as well as at festivals, arts events and jazz clubs. Cairo Club Band Leader Peter Milley is responsible for the Jazz Age Music Classics on the Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries ABC, Peter digitally restores these rare 78 RPM Records and they are featured in Series one to Three. The Band can also be heard in some of the series episodes as well.

The Cairo Club Orchestra will be playing from original vintage scores, featuring ad lib solos and antique microphones and instruments that only enhance the authentic sound and presentation. Alongside the fabulous vocal talent of Nichaud Fitzgibbon, this show is sure to delight your afternoon.
