In a production that’s been described as a “blues nightmare with a sexy mix of Latin, salsa and jazz”, Emotionworks Cut Opera present Bizet’s Carmen at the Flying Saucer Club this November. In the tradition of Cut Opera, award-winning director Julie Edwardson has fused the much-loved Carmen score with a mix of sensual, modern day music, providing a different angle to the standard sounds of opera. This revolutionary adaptation contains no boring bits, and that’s a promise!
