SELLING FAST!

This Queen’s birthday long weekend ARIA Hall-of-Famer Ross Wilson and his band The Peaceniks will rock the Flying Saucer Club all night long! To celebrate Ross’ award winning 1989 solo album Dark Side Of The Man being recently released for the first time on iTunes, Spotify and other digital music platforms, you’ll not only get to hear Eagle Rock, Come Back Again, Cool World, State of The Heart and Come Said The Boy from the Daddy Cool and Mondo Rock songbooks, but also tracks from Dark Side of The Man like the timeless Bed Of Nails along with plenty more classics from the extensive Ross Wilson songbook.

“When we were preparing DSOTM for digital release I realised what a classy album it is. The title track really struts and there are some terrific ballads too (Bed Of Nails, Who Do You Take It To) so we’re gonna whip a few out at the FSC and see what happens.” Ross Wilson’s 5 decade career also encompasses song-writing and producing credits with his songs being recorded by artists as diverse as Joe Cocker, Jimmy Barnes, Def FX, Custard, Jennifer Rush, Troy Cassar-Daley, You Am I, Renee Geyer, Christine Anu , The Wiggles (this version of Eagle Rock again topped the charts in July 2008!) and, of course, John Farnham, with Ross’ brilliant song-writing delivering Johns unforgettable hit ‘A Touch Of Paradise’. You can expect to hear all of this and more when you get on board the and take a peek at the Dark Side Of The Man.
