Celebrating 30 years in the business, Peter Milley’s Cairo Club Orchestra has an excellent show lined up for Mother’s Day this May! The Cairo Club Orchestra is unequalled in their ability to recreate the hottest music of the 1920s Jazz Age including some scorching Dixieland numbers, big band swing, ‘Kansas’ style jump, exotic Ellingtonian ‘jungle’ swing or raunchy blues. The venue’s dance floor and the great food are always popular with audience members so spoil Mum by nabbing her a ticket to this 1920’s show, as we’ve added a lunch and show ticket option, so you can really do Mother’s Day in style. As well as catching Peter Milley’s Cairo Club Orchestra featuring the stunning vocals of Nichaud Fitzgibbon, you’ll also be served a delicious three-course meal. What more could you want? Don’t miss out on this one! Bring along your mothers, your sisters, your misters, your brothers and your others!

Presented through vintage microphones, the 20’s and 30’s orchestrations are authentic and the solo work is hot hot hot! Some brand new tunes will also be introduced that will complement the Cairo Club’s trademark quirkiness. The sassy Nichaud Fitzgibbon and her splendidly dressed alter egos will contribute to her unique and well-honed musical skills.

Peter Milley’s Cairo Club Orchestra has been entertaining Melbournian’s for thirty years. They have performed just about everywhere and have indulged in a bit of TV and Radio appearances as well as Festivals and Arts events, Jazz Clubs and are dedicated to bringing the best  of 1920’s 30’s and 40’s hot dance music and radio/motion picture hits.

Peter Milley is also a consultant on Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Series three, currently in production. He provides rare 78 records for the soundtrack and tunes recorded by the Cairo Club Orchestra.)
