THE BEATLES Vs THE ROLLING STONES!
New Years Eve at the Flying Saucer Club will be a big British celebration of both The Beatles and The Rolling Stones as Melbourne Sixties specialists THE SUBSTITUTES along with special guest vocalists take on the challenge of performing all the hits from these two iconic bands. Flying Saucer favourites, The Substitutes are fronted on vocals and guitar by Neil Scott with, Peter Reed (Drums), Peter Summers (Guitar, Keyboard), and Pete Robinson (Bass). Joining them on the night will be a special NYE exclusive showcase of vocalists to make the evening even more delectable. The Substitutes will welcome to the stage STEVE LUCAS of X infamy, DAN ROBINSON from the Wild Cherries and RONNIE CHARLES, lead singer from The Groop as well as founder of ‘70s rock group Blackfeather, NEALE JOHNS. You will be taken back to a time of Beatlemania, bowl cuts and bold suits. To top it all off spinning on the decks will be none other than Triple R’s suave man about town TONY BIGGS.
