The band Linda formed in the early 2000s, taking their name from one of their biggest inspirations, Linda McCartney.

‘We were all playing in different original bands at the time and gravitated towards each other through our mutual love of seventies soft-rock and power pop,’ bass player James Batchelor said. ‘Linda is an extension of our friendship and enduring passion for this music.’

The incredibly versatile voice of Catherine Green knits the group together. Green is often coupled in harmony with vocalist/guitarist Nick Thomson, whilst keyboardist
extraordinaire Paul Spurling chimes in to round out the sweet, three-part harmonies, which hark back to the genre’s golden age. The outstanding, and oftentimes maniacal guitar licks of David “Kuc” Kuc have audiences in constant amazement, while rounding out the Linda lineup is the measured thump of James Batchelor’s Fender Precision Bass and the dynamic rhythm of drummer Steve Snare.
