That’s right, this smooth group of talented musicians has been doing the rounds long enough to reach their pearl anniversary! Folks, it’s time to polish up those dancing shoes and throw on a string of pearls in honour of this milestone for the Cairo Club Orchestra. We’ll see you on the dance floor!

In 30 years, Peter Milley’s Cairo Club Orchestra has provided a refreshing take on the ‘big band’ theme that Melbournians have always embraced with welcome arms. They have performed just about everywhere and have indulged in a bit of TV and made radio appearances, as well as at festivals, arts events and jazz clubs.

The Cairo Club Orchestra will be playing from original vintage scores, featuring ad lib solos and antique microphones and instruments that only enhance the authentic sound and presentation. Alongside the fabulous vocal talent of Nichaud Fitzgibbon, this show is sure to shimmer into early evening.
