ARIA chart-topping successful front man of legendary Australian bands Noiseworks and INXS, Jon Stevens will showcase his musical journey throughout his 20 year music career. With special guest: JOHN MCNAMARA

Jon Stevens’ remarkable career as a singer, songwriter and performer has spanned over 20 years and reaped many achievements, including ARIA chart-topping success as the front man of legendary Australian bands Noiseworks and INXS.
Stevens’ musical journey started off with success in his originating country, New Zealand, where he released his debut single & album, with two of the singles and the album all hitting number One.

After expanding internationally to record his second album in Los Angeles, Stevens performed alongside Elton John, which led him to cross paths with his future manager – who soon after relocated Stevens to Australia.

Once on Australian shores Stevens wasted no time, forming the rock band Noiseworks. Over the next five years the band successfully produced three Top 10 singles and four Australian Top 10 albums.

Following the success of Noiseworks, in 1992 Stevens decided to pursue opportunities on a different kind of stage – starring as Judas in the highly acclaimed and successful Australian Musical Production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar.

A studio collaboration in 2000, saw Stevens become part of rock band INXS as guest vocalist and embarked on a global tour, which included a 55-day engagement with the legendary Night of the Proms throughout Europe. Shortly after he was officially announced as the “seventh member” of INXS.

Returning to his solo career, Stevens then forged ahead with new material in the studio, unleashing a further two solo albums – “Changing Times” and then “Testify” in 2011.

Now in 2013, Stevens is fronting a brand new project called The Dead Daisies who have just released their first single ‘Lock ‘N’ Load’ featuring legendary guitarist, Slash. Despite only launching the live show early this year, the group was invited to support ZZ Top on their Australian tour, before joining legendary American rockers, Aerosmith, on their first Australasian tour in 23 years. In August the band is set to embark on a huge 25-date North American tour as part of the Rockstar Uproar Festival playing alongside Janes Addiction, Alice In Chains and Coheed & Cambria. The Dead Daisies line-up features Richard Fortus (Guns ‘N’ Roses/Thin Lizzy), Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy/Whitesnake), Alex Carapetis (Nine Inch Nails/Julian Casablancas), David Lowy (Mink/The Angels), and Dizzy Reed (Guns ‘N’ Roses).

Stevens has also just completed a 23-date, sold-out Arena Tour as part of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar Production, where his role of Pontius Pilot was met with critical acclaim.

Stevens is currently in the studio with Steve Balbi working on the upcoming Noiseworks Album.
