Shannon Bourne presents ‘Jimi Hendrix – Band Of Gypsys’

Following on from a stunning re-creation of Jimi Hendrix’s ‘Axis: Bold As Love’ at the Flying Saucer Club earlier this year, Shannon Bourne returns with his band in December to showcase Hendrix’s first live album, ‘Band of Gypsys’. This album was recorded live over two consecutive nights in 1970 at the Fillmore East in New York City where a total of 24 different songs were performed and recorded. Hendrix along with his Band developed songs such as ‘Lover Man’, ‘Stepping Stone’ and ‘Message to Love’. Guitar enthusiasts unite for what will be a killer show!
