Annie’s debut single “Better When You’re Around” is a fusion of traditional country sentiment with a modern edge. Citing influences such as; Taylor Swift, Alison Krauss, Keith Urban and Dolly Parton, Annie’s music is a reflection of a country girl living in the city. Produced by Lee Bradshaw, the track features two of Australia’s finest guitarists; Stuart Fraser (Noiseworks, John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes) and Brett Garsed (John Farnham, Nelson) and was recorded at Burwood Sound Studios. The song was mixed by award winning producer/engineer Benny Grotto in Boston, MA, and mastered by Al Neuendorf.
